Hi, I'm Joanne, a digital designer based in Glasgow with a background in Interior Architecture.
I create thoughtful digital experiences that bring together branding, storytelling and usability. From websites and visual identities to customer journeys, I'm interested in how design can connect people with products and ideas in meaningful ways.
Over the past decade, I've worked across branding, web design and interior architecture, from designing public spaces in London and Glasgow to creating digital experiences for luxury whisky brands, e-commerce businesses and freelance clients. These experiences have shaped my collaborative, user-centred approach to design.
I have a particular interest in accessibility and inclusive design because I believe good design should work for everyone. Completing a Professional Diploma in UX Design strengthened my understanding of research, usability and accessibility, and continues to influence how I approach every project.
Outside of design, I enjoy attending creative workshops in Glasgow, printmaking, painting and birdwatching. I find inspiration in activities that take me away from the screen and bring a fresh perspective to my creative work.
